The coastline does most of the work in this one. Two islands with famously complicated edges means the border goes together faster than any other 1000 piece puzzle we cut, and then the interior turns into a slow and pleasant hunt through hills, cathedrals, castles and a surprising number of sheep.

It gets bought as a gift for people who have moved away, and we have had letters about that. The 28 centimeter fold out sheet is worth keeping — it names things the drawing only hints at.

From our table: Do the two coastlines first and treat the Irish Sea as the dividing line. It halves the job.

3 duplicate pieces and 1 missing piece.

I enjoyed their London so much. I had to get this one. My husband and I also enjoyed this one particularly because we want to visit the UK and Ireland. But in our box there were three duplicate pieces and one missing piece. A little disappointing.
